Cubbies

Cubbies is a Bible based, two-year preschool for 3 & 4 year olds. Cubbies meets on Wednesdays from 6:25 - 8:15 p.m. Our Cubbies program features scripture memorization and teaching of basic Bible truths.

Cubbies Our goal at Cubbies is to assist and encourage you in the spiritual nurture of your child. The main segments of a typical evening are Story Time where Bible songs and foundational truths about God, Jesus and the Bible are taught. Book time follows, during which your child will be encouraged and motivated to learn Bible verses. Learning is structured and understanding is targed for the benefit of your child. We know that Cubbies need a time to jump, skip, run, and wiggle so that comes next, in Play Time. Games are chosen that reinforce the lesson aim each week. In fact, all parts of the Cubbies meeting integrate the Bible truth first introduced at home and then reinforced throughout the Cubbies program.

Sparks

Sparks is for kindergarten through second grade children. Kids may begin to check in at 6:15pm and Opening Ceremony begins at 6:25 in the Fellowship Hall. Pick up by parents/guardians is at 8:15pm.

The Spark theme is ‘My Friend for Christ’ and the key verse for the club is John 3:16.

The goal of the Sparks program is to train children about Jesus, to serve him and others. Another main goal is to teach the children to share what they learn about Jesus with others. The schedule for the evening is handbook time, where the children recite the verses they have learned, game time and green meadow time where the children listen to stories that will teach them about the truths in the Bible.

TNT

Truth & Training (or T & T) teaches third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and trains them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal in T & T is to prepare today’s young people to become tomorrow’s church leaders.

Kids attend T & T Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. Club begins at 6:25 p.m. with an opening which includes flag salutes and the AWANA song. This is followed by three thirty-minute sessions made up of Hand-Book Time (where clubbers memorize Scripture), Large-Group Time (during which clubbers receive solid Biblical teaching), and Game-Time. Club ends with awards and announcements, and clubbers are dismissed at 8:15 p.m.

The T & T program exposes children to the gospel message with a Bible-centered curriculum that helps kids build a firm foundation for their faith, hide God’s Word in their heart, and apply the truths of Scripture to their daily lives. The T & T key verse is Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.”
